August 21, 2011      THE PROJECT:  Home Remodel - Fire Damage - Bonita, Ca.

In October of 2010 there was a bad fire in a rental home I have and it pretty much damaged most of the home either by water, smoke and the fire itself. My home owner’s insurance was going to evaluate the damage and let me know what they could do, but at the same time I decided to call in a local General Contractor and basically get a second opinion. My son knew someone, that recommended Correia Contracting, and we had them come out the same day as the insurance company adjuster and although they both agreed on many of the repairs, Correia had ideas that would not only repair the home but bring it up to date.

 After almost 5 months of discussions between our insurance company, myself and Correia, I felt that Correia would do the best job and had our best interest at heart and the insurance company bowed to my wishes and let Correia do the repairs on my home.

Once the decision was made and the contracts were signed and agreed upon by all parties, Correia went to work. They were fast, efficient, addressed a number of my concerns and allowed me the opportunity to make changes as we went along. Their ideas were very helpful and they upgraded my house from the 1960s to a 2011 home. They took care of all the fire damage, designed and created a whole new kitchen for me, upgraded all the appliances, upgraded the master bathroom, gave me a new garage door, new windows and window covering, paint inside and out, upgraded certain plumbing, addressed asbestos and lead concerns in a house of that age, saved a wood floor that I really liked and matched the damaged areas perfectly, fixed the roof, all  new lighting fixtures throughout the house and upgraded all the electrical wiring. 

All in all they did a terrific job, finished right on time, kept me informed every step of the way about the progress, dealt with the insurance company and the mortgage company with the paperwork to secure payments, and gave me a wonderful house to rent out in the end. I would like to thank Louie, Bruce, Craig and Gustavo for their management and persistence in completing the job and hope to work with them again in the future. 

October 15, 2010      THE PROJECT:  Tenant Renovation - Construction of a Jersey Mike's Subs

When it came time to build my third Jersey Mike’s restaurant, I decided to open up the bid process to the entire contracting playing field. Against other General Contractors, Correia Contracting provided me with a far superior plan and accompanying presentation, and thus earned my choice as the right company for the job. In addition to providing a quick schedule and a cost-efficient budget, they over-delivered by completing the job ahead of schedule and within the projected budget. Correia Contracting’s Superintendent, Craig Leonetti, followed the project every step of the way and was instantly available to deal with any ordeal that threatened the project’s deadline or end product. The final result exceeded my expectations by proving to be cleaner and more operational than I had anticipated. The attention to detail was exceptional. I had a phenomenal contracting experience with the efficient, diligent and proficient crew that is Correia Contracting; I would recommend anyone looking for a similar experience and result to pick Correia Contracting.

September 28, 2010 THE PROJECT:  Provide labor and material to remove (2) rotted T.J.I. rafters spanning from building to 
                                                                      over gate. Remove facia at builiding and facia over gate. Provide labor to replace
                                                                      facia at building and over gate,sheet with siding and trim with molding on one side
                                                                      only. Install gutter on facia at building only. Replace 4" x 4" on top of fence. Install 2" x
                                                                      4' under facia on street side of fence. Provide labor and material to patch back stucco
                                                                      as needed from removal of T.J.I. only. Provide labor and material to paint to all new
                                                                      installed material and stucco patched to match existing only.

    Dear Board Members;  We would like to commend you on your selection of Correia Contracting, Inc. to perform the removal of the wood beams in our  
    patio. The gentlemen who represented Correia, were efficient and unobtrusive. They left the work area in immaculate condition between and after their
    work and were extremely accommodating.

    You may recall we were alarmed when they appeared unannounced on a Friday morning. It was our assumption that starting a job on Friday would
    leave us with  weekend of chaos at our front door. We could not have been more wrong. The gentlemen explained the job would take two days. They
    made every attempt to minimize disruption. At the end of the first day of work, they offered to replace the patio furniture to the original locations for the
    weekend, but we opted to do that ourselves assuming we would need to sweep and hose the area. They left having apparently vacuumed the patio
    since there was no trace of them having worked there. They arrived on Monday morning and kept us informed of their progress. They returned locks and
    security lights to improved working order. They were careful and kind.

    Their works appears to us to be to perfection. We recommend them highly and hope to see them on future projects throughout the village.

August 19, 2010        THE PROJECT:  Remodel a basement room to include a bathroom where a small closet, and unusable
                                                                      corner existed. Bathroom to include toilet, shower and sink with all proposed plumbing
                                                                      residing below ground level with no sewer access at that level.

    I want  you to know how pleased I am with my recent bathroom addition. When I first decided to move forward with Correia Contracting on this project
    I was very skeptical … a bathroom subterranean without a septic tank was probably not likely. However, with Bruce’s amazing research to find
    “The Saniflo – Saniplus system” we had the perfect toilet solution for my situation.

    Once we were able to eliminate our obstacle the Team went right to work. Louie gave me the best team to work on my project … I love Steven & John.
    They showed up on time every day, they were pleasant, informative and were genuinely concerned about my happiness. The job was scheduled to be
